Position Summary The Salesforce Team Lead is responsible for leading, coaching and managing a team of IT Salesforce professionals in software development. You will provide software development solutions to our business partners supporting our corporate objectives with state-of-the-art technology and methodology. In addition to leading projects, partnering with clients and developing recommended standards for software development in the organization, the Team Lead is also expected to perform hands-on Salesforce work. You will use your effective communication style and IT/Salesforce background to work with a variety of audiences to lead this team to excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing guidance and direction to a team of developers and other Salesforce professionals for both day-to-day activities and project-related work;
  • Providing people leadership, including: coaching, mentoring, objective setting, employee performance reviews, career development, employee engagement, onboarding and training;
  • Working with the team, management, and business counterparts to achieve corporate and departmental goals;
  • Developing and maintaining project schedules and releases while working collaboratively with other IT teams and business analysts;
  • Building and maintaining positive relationships with various internal clients and external vendors;
  • Analyzing and implementing process improvements;
  • Managing requests and client expectations through prioritization and regular communication;
  • Resource planning for both maintenance and project work;
  • Evolving software development standards in the organization through recommendations, training, coaching, and advocacy; advising senior IT leadership and architects; ensuring software development standards are communicated and understood.
  • Performing Salesforce tasks as required

Required Qualifications Education: Diploma or University degree in Information Technology or business administration or an equivalent combination of education and applicable experience

Work Experience 5+ years leadership experience.

3+ years as a Salesforce professional with proven leadership capabilities

Other Qualifications

  • Knowledge of resource planning and scheduling on projects.
  • Knowledge of MuleSoft is considered an asset;
  • Excellent analytical, decision making and problem solving skills;
  • Self-directed with a high level of personal accountability and responsibility; and
  • Superior interpersonal and communication skills

Language Skills: Competence in English is essential. Bilingualism is considered an asset.
