Job Description
JYSK is seeking a Junior Allocation Specialist to join our Inventory and Allocation team on a permanent, full-time basis. We are looking for a master multi-tasker with excellent communication skills and an upbeat attitude. The successful candidates will report to the Inventory & Allocation Manager and assist in the day-to-day operations of the Inventory Allocation team. You will make sure to have all the products, materials, equipment, and supplies needed to operate efficiently in ways that are aligned to established policies and standards
This role is required to work onsite in our corporate office located in Coquitlam.
Key Responsibilities:
- Run weekly store orders through our Automated Replenishment System (AGR) as per schedule
- Review and approve add-on orders sent from the stores, daily
- Review stores feedback and make approved changes to the orders produced from AGR
- Identify inventory issues and alert the Store Manager and Operations Manager to take corrective action
- Enter splits as needed and report any system inaccuracies
- Update the Warehouse pick sheet with approved orders that are ready for picking
- Work with stores on incoming issues and providing appropriate timely solutions
- Validate all items and ensure there is a minimum quantity for ordering
- Creating and analyzing weekly reports
- Data entry

What do you bring to the role?
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to make sound decisions and provide alternative solutions to problems
- Is a self-motivated individual, who is able to work well independently and as part of a team
- Strong Written and Oral Communication skills
- 2 years in retail with ordering/supply chain experience, JYSK Store Experience would be considered an asset
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Must be authorized to work in Canada.
Compensation: Generally, the hiring range for this position is $44,000 to $48,000 annually; the base pay offered is based on location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, internal and market equity.
