About the role
The Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing and executing the day-to-day sales operations and activities of the Fredericton office. This role ensures the achievement of sales targets, delivers an exceptional customer experience, and provides leadership within the office environment. The Sales Manager will manage the complete sales process, maintain operational integrity, and drive business growth through market knowledge and collaboration.

Responsible for all daily sales activities for the Fredericton office, ensuring targets and objectives are met.

Oversee a complete turnkey sales process to guarantee an exceptional customer experience.

Ensure sales processes and cost are managed to expectations.

Collaborate with the project manager and office/sales support administrator to maintain the integrity and details of all files and documents related to business operations.

Gain and expand market knowledge, monitor competitors, and identify areas of growth within the market.

Provide leadership and foster a positive, high-performance culture within the office.

Work closely with plant and operations teams to communicate market trends and suggest changes to support business growth.

Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards.

Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve office goals.

Monitor and report on sales performance, providing regular updates to senior management.

Hours of commitment for this role are not consistent. It is expected you will be available to the business as required to meet the customers’ expectations.

Minimum of 5 years selling experience, preferably in the housing/construction industry.

Post-secondary education is an asset.

Proven ability to manage the sales cycle and effectively handle difficult situations.

Proficient in MS Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint.

Excellent interpersonal communication (written & verbal) and creative problem-solving skills.

Strong sales process management, negotiation, and analytical skills.

Exceptional organizational skills and demonstrated ability to prioritize activities to drive the sales process.

Self-starter, organized, able to work autonomously or as part of a team.

Handle confidential and sensitive documentation as required.
