The Opportunity
We are seeking a licensed Industrial Electrician (442A and/or 309A) to join our manufacturing team in London, Ontario. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems and equipment to ensure optimal production efficiency and safety. You will work with automation, PLCs, and industrial controls while supporting continuous improvement and preventative maintenance initiatives.
What You Will Do
- Perform electrical repairs, installations, and troubleshooting on industrial machinery and equipment.
- Maintain and repair PLCs, drives, and industrial control systems.
- Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance to ensure equipment performance and reliability.
- Identify opportunities for equipment and process optimization, and collaborate on upgrades.
- Proactively address maintenance issues to minimize downtime and production interruptions.
- Document work performed and share findings for continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with OHSA regulations, Electrical Safety Code, and company safety standards.
- Support mechanical maintenance activities when required.
What You Bring
- Valid Industrial Electrician 442A (Ontario) and/or 309A License.
- 2 to 4 years of experience in a manufacturing or process plant environment.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills with industrial electrical systems.
- Experience with PLCs, automation, and control systems.
- Strong knowledge of the Ontario Electrical Code and Building Code.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and adaptability skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Availability to work rotating shifts (days, afternoons, nights), weekends, and overtime as required.
Assets
- Experience with automated packaging, CMMS, energy management, power monitoring, or green energy technology.
- Familiarity with life safety systems, electrical load management, and building systems.
- Certifications such as Lean Manufacturing, RCA, TPS, or RCM.
- Experience with high voltage maintenance.
- Strong relationship with the ESA (Electrical Safety Authority).

- WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System)
- Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)
- Working at Heights
- First Aid/CPR
- Confined Space Entry
