Positions And Shifts
1 position on our day shift: Monday through Thursday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm and Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm

Responsibilities
The responsibilities for the rewarding position of CNC Programmer at Ben Machine Products will include the following:
Create CNC programs for 3-axis, 5-axis, and CNC lathe machines using Mastercam. Set-up and operate 3, 4 and 5-axis CNC vertical milling machines. Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to plan CNC programs, calculate correct dimensions, and determine machine speeds and feed rates. Understand geometric dimensioning and tolerancing. Use appropriate tools, fixtures, and indicators to set up the machine. Load, unload, change and modify programs as required. Change and set cutting tools. Modify and grind tools as required. Operate the machine with all safety precautions in place. Deburr and prepare parts for loading and after unloading. Measure and inspect parts to ensure dimensions are within tolerance. All other duties as assigned.
Experience
We are looking for candidates with the following minimum experience:
7+ years of CNC programming experience within a precision machining environment. Certificate of qualification, college degree or other training in CNC machining is an asset. Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of machinist processes. Fanuc or Haas experience a must. Familiarity with Mastercam a must. Previous aerospace experience preferred.
