Role Description The Lead Installer is a full-time, on-site role based in Brockville, ON, responsible for overseeing the installation of windows and doors at customer locations. Day-to-day tasks include leading installation crews, reading and interpreting measurements and plans, ensuring proper fitting and sealing of products, and maintaining high standards of safety and workmanship. The role also involves inspecting completed work, troubleshooting on-site issues, and communicating clearly with customers and team members about timelines, progress, and any adjustments needed. The Lead Installer is expected to coordinate materials, tools, and site preparation, verify compliance with company policies and building regulations, and support training and guidance for junior installers. This position requires reliable attendance, hands-on work in a variety of weather conditions, and a strong focus on customer satisfaction and quality results.
Qualifications
Strong window and door installation skills, including measuring, fitting, sealing, and finishing. Experience leading installation teams, delegating tasks, and coordinating on-site activities. Solid understanding of construction practices, use of hand and power tools, and adherence to safety regulations. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, work orders, and installation specifications. Effective communication skills for interacting with customers, colleagues, and supervisors. Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and commitment to high-quality workmanship. Physical ability to lift, carry, and install window and door units and work at heights when required. Valid driver license and reliable transportation to office in Brockville, ON. Willingness to follow company standards, health and safety procedures, and local building codes.
