Summary
We are seeking a Finance Manager to support CMG Seismic Solutions. In this role, you will oversee all financial operations, with a primary focus on accounting and financial reporting. You will partner closely with the Director, Finance, to advance growth and profitability initiatives, while continuously improving the efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of the finance and accounting function. This role offers a rare opportunity to support all three companies, giving you broad exposure to diverse revenue models, global operations, and cutting edge technology environments. You will play a pivotal role in driving financial excellence—ensuring compliance, strengthening processes, elevating reporting quality, and enabling strategic decision-making across three dynamic and rapidly evolving businesses.
Essential Responsibilities
Essential responsibilities in this role include, but are not limited to
Manage all accounting operations, including general accounting, accounts payable, and accounts receivable Review/prepare, as applicable, monthly account reconciliations/month-end schedules Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements Coordinate and consolidate financial data from various subsidiaries across multiple jurisdictions Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial information Manage and comply with local, state, and federal reporting requirements and tax filings Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures for the company, balancing accuracy and compliance with transparency and the reporting needs of internal and external stakeholders Develop and document business processes and ongoing review of internal control environment including management of changes Review contracts and interpret the technical accounting rules under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), including the preparation of technical accounting memos Oversee contracts in collaboration with the legal team Liaise with auditor sand other external parties, as applicable Support month-end and year-end close processes Coordinate preparation of property insurance renewals Lead improvements, upgrades and enhancements to accounting systems and related accounting processes/controls Lead implementation of corporate credit card and expense programs that can be rolled out across Seismic entities Collaborate with Finance Integration Lead for post-acquisition Finance initiatives Develop and mentor department team members Collaborate with other departments to align financial initiatives with company wide-operational goals

Qualifications
Education & Professional Credentials
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field. CPA designation (or international equivalent) required. Candidates without a CPA may be considered if they possess significant progressive finance and accounting experience. IFRS reporting experience preferred.
Experience
7+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including leadership experience. Tech company experience is preferred. Experience managing full-cycle accounting and financial reporting. Experience preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Experience supporting multi-entity and multi-jurisdiction financial operations. Experience managing audits, tax compliance, and statutory reporting. Experience with acquisitions, post-acquisition integrations, or finance transformation initiatives is an asset. Experience improving financial systems, controls, and business processes.
Technical Knowledge
Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting requirements. Solid understanding of internal controls, governance, and risk management. Ability to assess accounting implications of contracts and business transactions. Experience with financial consolidations and intercompany accounting. Advanced proficiency with ERP systems, accounting software, and Microsoft Excel.

High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail. Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively across teams. Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment.
