The Ministry of SaskBuilds & Procurement, Central Vehicle Agency (CVA), located in Regina is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to fill the permanent fulltime position of License Clerk.

CVA provides a full-range of vehicle rental, leasing and fleet management services to government and other public sector organizations.

As part of CVA, the license clerk performs several duties such as: licensing CVA fleet vehicles, ordering and distributing new and replacement fleet fuel cards, handling ticket reminder/summons, entering vehicle transfer documents, and other general office duties.

The successful candidate will have:

  • knowledge of office and/or administrative procedures, protocols and equipment.
  • the ability to clearly and accurately (verbally and in writing) provide/exchange information/explanations on issues, policies, and procedures with clients, co-workers and work related contacts in a manner appropriate to the audience.
  • knowledge of and ability to use applicable computer applications such as word processing, communications, and spreadsheet software.
  • the ability to work independently and/or as a contributing member of a variety of teams to complete work assignments, achieve common goals and contribute towards a positive work environment.
  • the ability to accurately reference, understand and appropriately apply acts, regulations, policies, procedures and agreements as part of daily operations.
  • the ability to extract, organize and compile information for accurate reports.

This position requires excellent customer service and a high level of professionalism when conducting licensing duties with CVA clients and vendors. The successful candidate is required to acquire and maintain a working knowledge of current policies, regulations and legislation that pertain to the duties of this position. A high level of attention to detail and accuracy must be demonstrated when performing and organizing all duties. The Central Vehicle Agency is committed to identifying and implementing efficiencies throughout the Agency. The successful candidate must be able to work effectively as a team member to contribute to the overall success of the Central Vehicle Agency.
