About The Role

As a CBRE Business Development Sr. Consultant, you will be responsible for developing and closing large and high

profile business opportunities within target market sectors while providing quality service.

This job is part of the Sales function. They are responsible for the design of sales solutions that are presented and sold to

potential, new, and existing clients.

What You’ll Do

Develop and build long-term, professional customer relationships with existing, new, and potential key

stakeholders. Maintain excellent relationships and after-sales support to build confidence in line with the

agreed business strategy.

Manage sales activity throughout the sales process including qualification, discovery, proposal, pricing

presentation, and negotiation.

Evaluate industry and business trends and analyzes performance and respond with necessary business change. Identify and build a large and high-profile, active sales pipeline. Explore both existing markets and target new

market opportunities.

Own, develop, and deliver exceptional sales and tender documents and presentations Maintain records and relevant contract documents in support of tenders and re-bids for the business. Enhance the business profile at industry events. Take part in networking and always promote an image of

professionalism.

Apply advanced knowledge to seek and develop new, better methods for accomplishing both individual and

organization function.

Coach others to develop in-depth knowledge and expertise in most or all areas within the function. Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Anticipates potential

objections and persuades others, often at senior levels and of divergent interest, to adopt a different point of

view.

Impact the achievement of customer, operational, project, or service objectives across multi-discipline teams.

Work is guided by functional policies which impact the design of procedures and policies.

Contribute to new products, processes, standards, and/or operational plans in support of achieving functional

goals.

Communicate difficult and complex ideas with the ability to influence.

What You’ll Need

Bachelor's Degree preferred with 8-10 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. The innovative mentality to develop methods that go beyond existing solutions. Ability to solve unique problems using standard and innovative solutions having a broad impact on the business. In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. Expert organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset. Highly sophisticated math skills. Ability to calculate somewhat complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Business Development Senior Consultant position is $110,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Business Development Senior Consultant position is $120,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
