We employ about 3000 people across Canada, and we truly care about our colleagues, our clients and the communities where we work and live. That’s what’s most important to us. We’re building a thriving organization that’s purpose driven and still want to remember what your favourite milkshake flavour is.

As a Manager, Business Operations - Acquisitions and Integrations, your responsibilities will include:

  • Assist the acquisition team throughout the acquisition process, including:

o Supporting lead generation and industry research,
o Maintaining lists of prospects based on ideal profile and status updates,
o Develop and maintain detailed financial models,
o Preparing presentations and analyses for the acquisitions team that will be presented to Vendor firms,
o Coordinate due diligence activities,
o Transferring knowledge to the integration project team.

  • Collaborate and coordinate with various internal stakeholders (Business Leaders, Legal, People & Culture, Business Operations, National Quality, Information Technology etc.) and external stakeholders (Vendor owners and their team members) to execute the acquisition transaction plans, ensuring clear understanding of interdependencies and risk assessment.
  • Contribute to the development of the acquisition process with the best practices and techniques for future use.
  • Other duties as assigned

At Doane Grant Thornton, you’ll work with inspiring leaders who support your development, both personally and professionally. This is a place where your insatiable curiosity enables you to think, see and hear from a variety of perspectives, a place where every day is different and having the courage to grow is part of who you are. And when all this comes together, well that’s when the magic happens!
