About the Role
As a Buying Administrative Assistant, you’ll play a key role in streamlining operations, managing essential tasks, and ensuring the efficient flow of products through the buying process. You’ll work closely with Buyers to ensure that products are authenticated, beautifully prepared, and ready to be offered for sale. This role provides the unique opportunity to bridge the gap between the Buying, Inventory, and Sales teams, contributing to a seamless workflow and a luxurious resale experience.

What You’ll Do:

Dry Cleaning & Repairs: Oversee product care, managing dry cleaning and repairs across two locations to maintain luxurious quality and promote sustainability.

Manage Client Inquiries: Organize the inbox and prioritize online client communications for the Vancouver buying team, ensuring prompt and professional responses.

Product Organization: Keep track of purchased and non-purchased products, ensuring they’re well-categorized and easily accessible.

RFID Tracking: Become proficient in our RFID technology, working closely with our support team to ensure seamless operations.

Supplier Selling Coordination: Communicate with and coordinate appointments with inquiring suppliers to ensure products meet our brand standards and quality expectations.

Preparation for Sale: Support product preparation, ensuring all items meet resale condition standards before listing them for sale.

Administrative Support: Assist Buying Manager with various administrative tasks, including ad hoc projects, to help meet overall team goals.
Skills & Abilities:

Must own a vehicle and be able to drive
-
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds

Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage diverse inventory
-
Willingness to learn and master RFID technology and inventory tracking systems
-
Basic sewing and product handling skills for repairs and alterations
-
Excellent communication skills, with a collaborative approach to working across teams
-
Proactive, adaptable, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment
-
Attention to detail, with a commitment to accuracy in product management
-
Comfortable using basic office tools (email, spreadsheets, etc.) and retail software systems
Compensation:
The expected hourly range for this role is $19-21/hr depending on experience and qualifications. Please note this range is derived from similar roles within the local market. The final offer will be based on the candidate’s applicable experience, knowledge, and skill set.
