We’re now looking for a Project Manager to join our growing delivery team. This role is ideal for professionals who can confidently drive complex ERP or SaaS implementation projects from start to finish while maintaining strong client relationships and profitability.
Role Overview
A Project Manager owns full delivery of a variety of projects. Demonstrates consistent execution, manages customer relationships to produce profitable reference clients.
Key Responsibilities
Client Handling:
- Promotes and maintains positive client relationships that directly serve inecta’s profitability and strategic goals.
- Ensures all actions are aligned with inecta’s best interests, recognizing the importance of retaining profitable reference clients.
- Proactively and effectively manage client expectations.
- Lead client relationships with credibility, navigate sensitive conversations, and maintain client satisfaction as a means to further inecta’s business success.
Plan Driven Project Execution:
- Ensures proactive, plan-driven project execution across multiple projects by using the project plan as the authoritative guide for tasks and timelines.
- Drives accountability by ensuring assigned resources complete tasks as scheduled, with timely status updates reflecting actual progress.
Risk Management & Communication:
- Independently assesses and escalates risks appropriately, keeps stakeholders informed, and identifies potential deviations early.
- Takes corrective action to maintain alignment with the plan.
Financial Accountability & Scope Management:
- Anticipates and manages budget risks.
- Manages change orders with clients and ensures alignment with internal stakeholders.
- Trusted for reliable financial ownership.
- Maintains and proactively communicates accurate and up-to-date scope and budget status.
Responsive Self-Starter:

Responds promptly to internal and external communications.

Maintains consistent communication and follows through on open items.

Proactively drives workstreams forward, anticipates needs, and achieves ownership of planning and delivery with little oversight.
Requirements
Project Management:
- Successfully managed 5+ projects with budgets in excess of 100K, including full lifecycle planning, execution, budget management, and delivery.
- Experience with complex projects such as ERP or construction is a strong plus.
- Experience simultaneously managing multiple projects is a strong plus.
Client Handling & Expectation Management:
- Demonstrated track record of managing client issues independently and having difficult conversations with stakeholders.
- Successfully prevent and minimize escalations by proactively managing expectations.
Budget Tracking & Financial Accountability:
- Track record of anticipating budget risks.
- Managed change orders with clients and ensured alignment with internal stakeholders.
- Trusted for reliable financial ownership.
Plan Driven Project Execution:
- Demonstrated track record of proactive, plan-driven project execution.
- Uses structured PM tools like Asana or Smartsheet for tracking and timelines.
Soft Skills:
- Demonstrated track record of managing high-pressure client relationships effectively.
- History of balancing multiple tasks while maintaining strong communication and collaboration, fostering a positive, solutions-oriented environment.
Leadership and Process Improvement:
- Consistently referenced as a role model for other PMs.
- Extremely strong track record of success as a PM.
Goes above and beyond with process improvements, identifying inefficiencies, and making impact better.
Communication Skills:
- Excellent communication skills; participates confidently in internal and client conversations.
Collaboration & Ownership:
- Self-starter who works well independently but is also a team player.
Preferred Experience:
- ERP/SaaS Implementation Experience is a strong plus.
Education:

Degree in business, accounting, finance, MIS, or similar; or equivalent work experience.
Compensation
The base salary hiring wage range for this position, which inecta Food reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position in the specified geographic areas or locations, is $80,000 to $95,000 CAD. Our salary ranges are determined by role and level. Within the range, individual pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Please note that the compensation details listed in Canada job postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include benefits.
