About the role

POSTING: GENERAL REGISTRANT POSITIONS AVAILABLE

Sages-Femmes Rouge Valley Midwives (SRVM) welcomes general registrants seeking a full-time position to apply to our friendly, dynamic and diverse practice. SRVM is a well-established practice, proudly serving a diverse population of childbearing families in Scarborough and the Durham region since 2004.

We are offering two permanent full-time positions within our practice group. Midwives currently offer a shared care model in teams of two, and we are always open to alternative models. We value fairness and equity and a collegial environment. We provide support for midwives who are new to our group, to ensure a smooth transition to our community and hospitals.

We carry privileges at two hospitals, both within a short drive of our clinic: Lakeridge Health—Ajax Pickering Site and Scarborough Health Network—Centenary Site, and we are offering a full-time caseload. We are transitioning to a paper-free office and all charting and records management is currently electronic.

We have recently moved to a new and inviting clinic space, close to the highway, which offers a bright and professional environment to welcome our clients. We host a bi-weekly lactation clinic in our space, run by a lactation consultant and pediatrician. Our office is large and accommodating, with office administration staff who are knowledgeable, friendly, and long-time team members.

Language diversity is an asset within our practice group and our community. Applicants who can provide care in languages other than English are encouraged to mention this in their application. Start date is flexible, optimally by December 2025.

Please email your cover letter and résumé to hpenner@srvm.ca or fax to 416 286 2122. Applications are encouraged by September 30, 2025, however earlier applications are welcome, and will be assessed as they are received. Positions will remain open until they have been filled.

We look forward to hearing from you.
