- Saturday & Sunday 5:00am-2:00pm

Position: Part-Time Floor Care & Facility Cleaner – Distribution Center (Ajax)
Overview:
We are currently hiring a Floor Care & Facility Cleaner for a large distribution center in Ajax. This role is ideal for someone experienced with ride-on floor scrubbers, walk-behind floor machines, and maintaining clean, debris-free warehouse spaces. A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and reliability are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Floor Care Focus (Primary):
- Operate ride-on floor scrubber to maintain large warehouse floor areas.
- Use walk-behind floor machines for tighter or more detailed areas.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of all floor surfaces, following designated routes and schedules.
- Report any hazards, spills, or mechanical issues related to equipment or flooring.
General Warehouse Cleaning:
- Collect and remove garbage and recycling from bins throughout the warehouse and designated areas.
- Relining of bins as required.
- Spot clean walls, doors, and other high-traffic surfaces as needed.
Light Office Cleaning (as required):
- Occasional cleaning of small office areas or break rooms.
- Wipe down touchpoints, empty bins, and tidy surfaces.
Requirements:
- Previous experience using ride-on and walk-behind floor machines in a commercial or industrial setting.
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with high attention to safety.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Dependable and physically capable of handling repetitive tasks and equipment.
- Minimum of 3 years commercial cleaning experience
