Position Description

CGI is seeking a seasoned Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Finance Consultant with strong functional expertise in Oracle Financials (GL, AP, AR) and hands-on experience in test automation. The ideal candidate will combine deep EBS Finance domain knowledge with solid QA and automation testing skills to ensure high-quality delivery of enterprise solutions. This is a permanent fulltime role, hybrid from our Atlantic Canada offices (2-3 days a week).

Your future duties and responsibilities

• Lead and execute functional, integration, and regression testing for Oracle EBS Finance modules — General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Analyze business and functional requirements to define test scope, strategy, and coverage.
• Collaborate closely with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to align testing with business and technical objectives.
• Develop, maintain, and execute manual and automated test cases using industry-standard tools.
• Manage test plans, test data, and test execution in Zephyr integrated with JIRA.
• Support release planning, smoke testing, and production validation activities.
• Provide functional expertise in Oracle EBS Finance processes and configurations.
• Drive QA process improvements and ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as TOSCA, Selenium, UFT, or Oracle Application Testing Suite (ATS).

Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role

• 7+ years of quality assurance experience with a strong focus on Oracle EBS Finance modules (GL, AP, AR).
• In-depth understanding of Oracle Financials business processes, configurations, and data flows.
• Strong command of QA methodologies, SDLC, and Agile testing practices.
• Proficiency with Zephyr for test management and JIRA for defect tracking.
• Proven experience in test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, UFT, TOSCA, or Oracle ATS).
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated testing into DevOps processes.
• Knowledge of PL/SQL, Oracle Cloud, or migration from EBS to Cloud environments.
• Familiarity with performance testing tools and best practices.
