About the role

Location : 6100 avenue du Boisé, Montréal
Status : Full Time (37.5 hours/week)
Schedule : Monday to Friday onsite at our clinic (operational hours: 7h00-19h00)

Join our team and what we will accomplish together

Under the supervision of physicians and registered nurses, the nurse technician administers nursing care to patients. They work in collaboration with the care team to support medical and clinical activities.

Here’s how:

• Assess the physical and mental condition of the symptomatic person and determine the urgency
• Clinically monitor patients at risk
• Initiate and perform diagnostic and therapeutic tests and measures
• Perform and adjust medical treatments
• Administer and adjust medications and other substances
• Administer vaccines
• Treat wounds
• Administrative tasks
o Order and receive medical supplies
o Manage inventories of vaccines, medical supplies, medications
o Supply physicians’ offices with required medical supplies

What you bring:

• Hold a DCS in nursing
• Member in good standing of the OIIQ
• Up-to-date CPR certification
• Clinical judgment
• Empathy
• Communication skills
• Stress resistance
• Initiative, organization and autonomy
• Team spirit

Great-to-haves

• Spoken and written bilingualism
• One year of experience in an emergency department, GMF clinic or walk-in clinic is an asset
