Your job

  • Develop and implement business development strategies to grow and maintain a profitable portfolio of commercial automotive clients.
  • Build and strengthen client relationships by providing tailored, full-service banking and financing solutions.
  • Leverage your network within the automotive industry to identify opportunities and generate quality referrals.
  • Negotiate effectively to optimize the profitability of new and existing relationships, while ensuring alignment with risk and return guidelines.
  • Collaborate closely with credit and internal partners to deliver sound financing structures and ensure prudent risk management.
  • Represent the Bank at industry and community events to enhance visibility and foster connections.

Your team The Automotive Finance Group is a dynamic team of specialists who work in an agile, proactive and collaborative manner to seize opportunities, stay on the cutting edge of market trends, and continuously improve processes. Within the sector, you will be part of a large network of colleagues and report to the AVP & Lead, Automotive Finance. Our team stands out for its strong industry expertise, client focus, and ability to deliver innovative financing solutions that help clients achieve their goals.

Prerequisites

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field, and a minimum of 10 years of experience in banking or commercial lending, with significant exposure to the automotive sector.
  • Proven track record in developing and executing sales strategies that generate sustained portfolio growth.
  • Demonstrated ability to structure and advise on complex automotive credit transactions.
  • In-depth understanding of credit and risk management principles.
  • Willingness to travel within Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and Alberta as required.
