The Shear Operator plays an important role in supporting safe and efficient operations by operating and maintaining the shear and related equipment. In this position, you will help ensure the equipment remains fully operational by monitoring performance, reporting defects, and performing light preventative and general maintenance. Your work will contribute to minimizing downtime and keeping production running smoothly.

Pay:

• $24.45

When: **Continental Day Shift:**7:00AM to 7:00PM

• Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday
• Week 2: Wednesday and Thursday

When:

• Ensure the effective and efficient operation of the shear in accordance with operational policies and procedures to meet established production targets.
• Complete all associated production reporting, including daily production reports.
• Perform preventative, predictive, and general maintenance on the shear and associated components based on prescribed procedures to minimize unexpected downtime.
• Perform greasing as required.
• Perform blade changes as required.
• Record all equipment deficiencies and submit associated documentation to ensure required maintenance is completed and the shear meets operational and safety standards.
• Complete daily equipment checklists and pre-start equipment checklists.
• Assist with the removal of material jams and perform general housekeeping duties to ensure equipment operates according to operational and safety standards.
• Other general duties as assigned by Supervisor.

You have:

• Must exhibit Triple M Metal LP's Core Values of Respect, Ethics, Service, Team and Pride.
• Previous experience with light general maintenance and preventative maintenance.
• Strong communication both written and verbal.
• OSSD or equivalent is preferred but not required.
