About the Role: Reporting to the Manager, Knowledge, Training & Onboarding, this role supports eHealth Saskatchewan by ensuring high-quality documentation and knowledge management practices. We’re seeking a detail-oriented professional with strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a customer-focused mindset. This position is integral to our chain of care, requiring proven experience in ITSM protocols, documentation standards, and problem-solving.
What You'll Do:
- Create, edit, update and review technical documents: support guides, project documents, user manuals, specifications, and policies.
- Develop and maintain knowledgebase records: document known issues, solutions, roles, and escalation procedures.
- Champion knowledge management practices by training staff and clients on repository use and best practices, while supporting the full knowledge lifecycle through regular content reviews to ensure accuracy, relevance, and timely retirement of outdated or redundant articles.
- Interpret technical materials: network diagrams, IT architecture, and project plans.
- Collaborate and support: work independently and as part of a team to meet client and organizational needs.
What You'll Bring to the Team:
- Post-secondary diploma in computer science or a related field of study.
- 2 years minimum experience working in a similar role within an integrated IT environment.
- ITIL/ITSM certification, strong understanding of IT operations, and knowledge management methodologies.
- Knowledge in creating, proofreading, and refining accurate documentation for technical and end-user materials.
- Knowledge to apply and champion methodologies, processes, and standards across organizational boundaries.
- Personal qualities: flexible, organized, empathetic, reliable, detail-focused, and committed to continuous improvement.
Competencies: Communication : Convey technical and non-technical information clearly through writing, presentations, and discussions.
Problem Solving : Identify and evaluate options, resolve conflicts, and manage complex situations with diplomacy to develop feasible recommendations.
Analytical : Research, interpret, and assess diverse information to determine alternatives, solve problems, and make sound decisions.
Interpersonal : Influence and collaborate with stakeholders; build trust and strong relationships to enhance client confidence and capacity.
Organizational : Prioritize and manage workload effectively, meeting deadlines and adapting to changing environments.
Teamwork & Independence : Work productively both independently and as part of a team, maintaining positive professional relationships.
