To support its continued growth, the company is seeking a**Senior Financial Analyst (CPA)**who will oversee key accounting functions and strengthen financial reporting processes. Reporting directly to senior management, you will contribute to financial planning, process improvement, and the development of financial tools that support the company’s strategic objectives.

POSITION SUMMARY
As aSenior Financial Analyst (CPA), you will play a central role in maintaining the integrity of the company’s financial information while supporting management with accurate reporting and analysis.
You will oversee core accounting activities, participate in financial planning and reporting, and help strengthen internal controls and financial processes that support the company’s continued development.
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:

Oversee accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities;

Prepare and review monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with ASPE standards;
-
Coordinate monthly and year-end financial closing processes;
-
Participate in budgeting and financial forecasting activities;
-
Develop and strengthen internal controls and financial procedures;
-
Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and financial reporting;
-
Collaborate with external advisors including accountants, tax specialists, and consultants;
-
Support leadership with financial analysis and performance monitoring;
-
Ensure compliance with federal and provincial financial regulations.
THE REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION ARE:

CPA designation required;
-
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field;
-
Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience;
-
Experience in a public accounting firm is a strong asset;
-
Strong knowledge of Canadian accounting standards (ASPE);
-
Experience preparing financial statements and managing financial close cycles;
-
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
-
Ability to communicate financial information clearly to stakeholders a changing environment focused on innovation and continuous improvement;

Fluent in French, both spoken and written (bilingualism, in French and English, is an asset).
