Reporting to an Account Director, theSr. Account Manageris integral to the success of LPi Group. As a primary contact to clients, this role works directly with our Account Management and Creative teams to ensure best-in-class client service for our clients, who are some of the biggest global brands!

To be successful you will need to bring a creative mindset, detail-oriented focus, and strategic business acumen gained through your previous marketing experience. You are responsible for delivering the marketing and financial objectives of each project, adeptly balancing client and internal expectations, resources, and constraints to consistently achieve superior results on brief, on budget and on time.

Please note, that this is a hybrid role consisting of remote working from home two days per week (Monday, Friday), and three days working in office (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) inCalgary, Alberta.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Oversee the day-to-day execution of high-quality, cost-effective program/project development and client deliverables.

  • Provide day-to-day leadership to 1-2 direct reports ensuring that best practices are adhered to and client and agency objectives are met.

  • Lead communication with client team, delivering exceptional client service in a responsive and efficient manner.

  • Demonstrate category and brand insights that contribute to the execution and growth of the client business.

  • Present new ideas and innovative approaches to evolving internal and external processes.

YOUR AREAS OF EXPERTISE

  • You bring 5-7 years of experience, preferably in an agency environment, with proven shopper marketing experience and knowledge of the Canadian retail landscape.

  • Experience developing omni-channel plans that include implementing e-commerce strategy with CPG client is an asset (retailer platforms, amazon.ca, digital programmatic).

  • You’re a master multi-tasker, responding positively to the changing needs of the organization.

  • You oversee projects, budgets, workback schedules and deliverables, ensuring clear business goals are set, met, and evaluated.

  • You build strong relationships, becoming a trusted advisor to your clients by understanding their business, industry, and the competitive landscape.

  • Demonstrated leadership and mentorship capabilities.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills with an ability to verbalize visual solutions.

  • Well-developed client leadership skills.

  • Superior problem-solving skills and creativity.

  • Strong financial management and literacy to create revenue growth by identifying opportunities with existing clients.
