Intern, Safety & Training

Discover more about potash at Nutrien! An exciting co-op opportunity awaits a motivated student at our New Brunswick site. It is for a maximum 8 month term in 2026 with flexible start & end dates

This is a temporary, full-time, hourly-paid position and is open to current students who will be returning to their studies once this work term is complete.

What you will do:

  • Lead, track, & report on progress of implementation of a new procedure application bring piloted with our Potash sites. Within this project you will:
  • Manually upload existing procedures into the new application.
  • Facilitate between Technical Training and the New Brunswick site regarding system questions/requirements.
  • Work directly with subject matter experts to update and create procedures.
  • Work directly with front line leaders to identify procedures to be created or updated, create a tracking log, and maintain accurate reporting through the evolution of this project.
  • Work with site IT to ensure complete removal of procedures from SharePoint once available in the new application.
  • Gather user feedback through comments, photos, and other contributions.
  • Coordinate and support user acceptance testing and application training sessions.
  • Conduct instructor led training.

What you will bring:

  • Completed at least 2 years of an undergraduate program in business, occupational health & safety or education/adult learning (or equivalent) at an accredited post-secondary institution and returning to full-time studies after the work term.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office.
  • Able to create training presentations using PowerPoint.
  • Able to learn new applications and software.
  • Able to communicate effectively with all levels of staff.
