Job Title: Head of People and Culture
Location: St. John’s – In-Office/Hybrid

SiftMed is an Artificial Intelligence (AI) processing software that organizes, categorizes, and analyzes medical files. With a mission to help find facts in medical data that can change lives - the company is currently focused on improving access to critical information that helps legal teams and medical experts to quickly and accurately find key hidden facts in medical data.

The Role:
We’re looking for a Head of People & Culture—someone who’s excited to roll up their sleeves, build processes from scratch, and make our company a place people love to work.
This isn’t about endless HR policies or corporate fluff. It’s about helping us hire amazing teammates, keeping our culture strong as we scale, and making sure everyone feels supported along the way.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Hiring awesome people and giving them a smooth landing when they join.
- Building lightweight processes for things like performance, pay, and benefits (without the red tape).
- Acting as the go-to person for our team—whether it’s a quick question or a tough conversation.
- Keeping our culture alive and well as we grow.
- Partnering with leadership to plan for what’s next as we scale.
What We’re Looking For:
- 3–5 years in People/HR/Recruiting (ideally in a startup or SaaS company).
- Organized, approachable, and good at getting stuff done.
- Strong communicator with a lot of empathy.
- Hungry to grow into a true head-of role as the company scales.
