About the role
Agilus is recruiting for a Mechanical Designer (Intermediate/Senior) in the customer equipment industry in Burlington, Ontario. Our client is seeking a Mechanical Designer to join their team, starting off on a contract basis. The Designer will come with a minimum of 10 years of custom machinery design experience.
A Typical Day
- Produce design drawings, general assemblies with details and sizing calculations
- Modify existing designs using Inventor
- Check drawings for accuracy, clarity and conformity with company standards and formats.
- Prepare marketing proposal drawings using existing marked up general assembly drawings and sketches from marketing/engineering input.
- Participate in drawing review meetings as required. Review and follow customer specifications.
Successful Candidates Will Have
- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- 10 + years in design or drafting of custom machinery / equipment
- Proficiency in Inventor / Vault
- PDM experience
