Technical Sales Representative (Automation & Electrical Systems) #979
About the role
Do you have experience in technical sales and business development? Do you have knowledge of industrial automation and enjoy finding solutions tailored to customers' needs? Are you motivated by traveling throughout Quebec, as well as Ontario and Western Canada?
If you answered yes to these questions, we have an excellent opportunity for you.
Our client, a fast-growing group made up of three companies specializing in electrical services and industrial automation, is seeking a Technical Sales Representative who will work primarily on the road. The successful candidate will be responsible for market development through prospecting, business solicitation, and representation with both existing and potential clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new business opportunities with industrial clients.
- Prospect and build lasting relationships with new customers.
- Meet with clients to understand their technical needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Act as a liaison between clients and technical teams.
- Prepare quotations and follow up on ongoing opportunities.
- Develop and maintain an active customer portfolio.
- Participate in trade shows, industry events, and networking activities.
- Perform other related duties as required.

Requirements
- College diploma in a field related to automation, electrotechnology, or industrial electricity.
- Experience in technical sales or business development with industrial clients.
- Knowledge of industrial automation and control systems.
- Bilingualism (French and intermediate English), both spoken and written, is considered an asset, as approximately 30% of communications are conducted with English-speaking clients.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
Salary: $80,000 to $95,000 per year + commissions
Schedule: Day shift
Status: Permanent
