About the role

US Sales Director (Location: Montreal)

Our client, a leading organization in the healthcare and pharmaceutical space, is seeking a Director of Sales to lead and develop their U.S. sales team. This role is critical in driving performance, strengthening leadership within the team, and supporting the continued transformation of the commercial structure.

This individual will oversee a team of Territory Sales Managers while also influencing broader sales functions, including Business Development and inside sales. The Director of Sales will operate as both a strategic leader and hands-on coach, partnering closely with executive leadership to align on priorities, execution, and long-term growth.

Qualifications: 7–10+ years of sales management experience Experience leading, developing, and building sales teams Experience within the healthcare or pharmaceutical industries PLUS: Compounding Pharmacy experience Comfortable operating in a less structured, agile environment Valid passport with willingness to travel ~35% across the U.S.

Responsibilities: Lead, coach, and develop a team of 7 U.S.-based Territory Sales Managers Oversee broader U.S. sales structure, including Business Development Executives and inside sales teams Drive team performance through structured coaching, mentorship, and development planning Partner closely with executive leadership to align on sales strategy, execution, and organizational priorities Support the ongoing transformation of the sales organization while maintaining strong performance outcomes Foster collaboration and alignment between U.S. and Canadian sales teams Build and implement scalable processes while maintaining agility within the organization Act as a player/coach by staying close to the business and leading from the front
