AltaGas - Maintenance Technician, Slave Lake
Are you seeking an exciting new opportunity to be part of a great team? Enerchem Interational Inc., an AltaGas company, is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Hydrocarbon Fractionation Plant in beautiful Slave Lake, Alberta!
The successful individual will be responsible for completing Instrumentation maintenance activities. This position is located in Slave Lake, AB and requires the successful candidate to reside in that community.
You Will:
- Complete and document preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance at Enerchem facilities
- Assist with coordinating, planning, and scheduling as required
- Install instrument tubing
- Maintain Instrument systems including primary field devices, valves, actuators, meters, and analyzers
- Work with automation specialists to troubleshoot and repair control systems
- Construct and maintain gas analyzer sampling systems and instrument tubing assemblies
- Complete calibrations on a variety of flow meter technologies including ultrasonic, restriction orifice, and Coriolis meters
- Work with advanced Rosemont process devices (Pressure, Level, and Temperature), HART and Modbus communication protocols
- Keep a clean and organized workspace/shop
- Assist other trades as assigned such mechanical and warehousing
- Assist with planning and execution of facility shutdowns and turnarounds
- Assist with in-house MOC creation and execution of projects to completion
- Other duties as assigned
You Have:
- Journeyman Instrumentation
- 2+ Year's of relevant experience required. Industrial maintenance preferred
- A valid Class 5 Drivers License and good driving record required
