SUMMARY
The position is responsible for providing education requirements to licensees and members of the public and reviews education and experience waiver requests.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Answers enquiries and provides information on education requirements for licensing, relicensing, and/or transferring from other jurisdictions.
- Reviews enquiries from individuals seeking education and experience waiver requests, prepares a summary of requests, and makes recommendations.
- Receives, calculates, and responds to requests for education requalification waiver periods from licensees.
- Supports regulatory education course registration, back-end administration, and monitors virtual delivery of classroom to ensure the integrity of attendance and participation is maintained.
- Ensures course completion and decision records are maintained in licensing files and in the database.
- Contributes to the team’s development of internal work practices (e.g., policies, procedures, and tools).
- Provides orientation and training to internal and/or external stakeholders within area of responsibility.
- Contributes to, participates in, and supports organizational business transformation initiatives.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Strong written and verbal communications skills.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
EDUCATION
- Secondary school graduation and some experience in an administrative or office support role, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
PROVISOS
Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada and living in British Columbia or intent to settle in the province.
