Job Summary
Location: Leader in pharmaceutical/consumer goods manufacturing. Ville St Laurent
Now, if you were to come on board as our Senior Facilities Manager, we’d ask you to do the following for us:
• Safety Leadership: Develop and implement a safety culture according to Compass and client policies and procedures while following codes and regulations. Ensure site safety compliance and conduct monthly safety audits. Provide safety updates and information on site conditions to direct reports and contractors.
• Business Acumen: Manage budgetary needs, monitor expenditure, and take corrective action when needed.
• Client and contract Management: Lead the facilities’ contract compliance and KPIS per the contracts. Develop a solid communication link with the ESFM team and the client. Compile necessary information for monthly client update meetings. Lead Quarterly Business Review meetings and update the agenda. Review and submit reports for any impact on production, loss of utilities, fire alarms, and injuries.
• Facilities Management: Supervise maintenance services, preventative maintenance and repairs for buildings, equipment, and grounds. Provide leadership and consultancy for the plant shutdowns.
• Contractor selection and Governance: Procurement of subcontractor services, schedules, and performance management of the contractors.
• Team building and management: Supervise team, including hiring, payroll, delegating assignments, scheduling, training, coaching, monitoring, and evaluating performance. Lead the Career Development Plan for the team members. Provide technical guidance, assist in troubleshooting utilities-related issues and repairs as a subject matter expert.
• Other responsibilities as assigned by the management.

• Proven experience(more than 10 years) in facilities management, contract governance and compliance, preferably in food or pharmaceutical manufacturing, with education in a technical field (Electrical/mechanical/chemical engineering).
• Proven team management and leadership skills to lead multiple accounts.
