What is the Opportunity?
The Wealth Management Transformation Management Office (TMO) oversees and guides the Wealth Management segment through transformation efforts, ensuring alignment with Lines of Business (LOBs) and segment strategic goals. The TMO provides funding & prioritization and performance management across the WM portfolio, as well as enables execution excellence in LOB delivery through agile ways of working, in partnership with the WM LOBs.
This role will enable the TMO to set up and deliver a transformational program within Wealth Management as well as sharing best practices to elevate LOB delivery and accelerate Wealth Management’s strategy.
What will you do?
Cross Business Program Management Support Program Leadership
Lead the setup and delivery of a multi-regional transformational program (Canada, US, and UK), ensuring consistency and reuse of frameworks across LOBs Coordination of activities across a number of teams (Regional teams, Borealis, Digital, Technology, and functional partners) to align deliverables and resolve dependencies. Articulate scope and timelines ensuring alignment with business goals
Governance and Communication
Implement and support leading an effective governance structure that leverages a “3-in-a-box” operating model to drive agile execution. Create executive communications (status updates, funding requests, release plans) to ensure effective decision making and alignment to the Enterprise program requirements.
Financial and Value Management
Secure approvals for capital expenditures and track financial performance against KPIs Own the value capture workstream including OKRs, tracking benefits realization, and investment ROI across LOBs
Risk Management and Compliance
Identify and mitigate program risks (e.g. operational, financial, model) Active engagement with Risk and Compliance partners to ensure timely support
Program / Project Guidelines & Standards
Disseminate best practices via coaching, updated guidelines, templates, and tooling to elevate LOB delivery capabilities. Foster a culture of continuous improvement through agile ways of working and change management.
Job Skills Leadership and Communication
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate a wide variety of complex information in both oral and written format Demonstrated collaboration skills with a proven track record of obtaining results through partnerships, impact and influence. Credibility and presence to be a trusted advisor with business leaders Excellent prioritization and co-ordination skills, combined with the ability to work to multiple deadlines under pressure Proven success in the management of stakeholders at all levels of an organization Financial and value management
Experience with financial disciplines, business case, investment / benefit /OKR tracking, and the ability to translate data into insights Technical expertise
Proven success in project, program, and/or portfolio management in a large financial institutions or corporation including financial planning (wealth management preferred) Expert knowledge with productivity tools (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, Power BI, Data visualization) and techniques for planning, monitoring and controlling projects, programs and portfolios What’s in it for you?
