About the role

This is a non-union position located at our Napanee recycling facility.

Must have Loader Operator experience.

Starting Wage: 33.57/hr.

Start time: 6 - 2 or 7 - 3

Shift: Mondays - Fridays

I. Job Summary

Sets-up and operates a wide variety of equipment, specifically a Loader Operator, and performs work per specifications.

II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.

Operates equipment in compliance with the company operating procedure.

Verifies that equipment is in working order, e.g., tooling, safety mechanisms.

Moves and positions raw materials and finished components with use of material moving equipment.

Performs daily maintenance and cleaning activities.

III. Supervisory Responsibilities

This job has no supervisory duties.

IV. Qualifications

The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job.

A. Education and Experience

Education: HEO program.

OR

Experience: Loader Operator experience.

B. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements

Must be legally eligible to work in Canada with a valid Canadian SIN (social insurance number).

C. Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required

None required.

Required to use motor coordination with finger dexterity (such as keyboarding, machine operation, etc.) most of the workday;

Required to be exposed to physical environment which involves dirt, odours, noise, weather extremes or similar elements rarely;

Normal setting for this job is: shop or field.

The expected base pay range for this position across Canada is $33.57 hourly. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific salary offered to a successful candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location.
