As a Leasing Agent working with Northland Properties Corporation, you are the first point of contact and create various connections with prospects and residents. In a unique and fast paced work environment, you will be interacting with people from all walks of life.
Responsibilities
Present the community and apartments to potential residents. Perform all leasing and resident relations functions at the property. Metrics monitoring and evaluation which includes vacancy, sales, renewals, move-in, move-out, notices, etc. Maintain knowledge of the property, including availability of suite types and layouts, common areas and amenities of the building, surrounding neighborhood and value-added services provided; Inspect all vacant suites weekly to ensure suites are in rent ready condition Handle all inquiries, feedback, complaints or concerns timely and professionally Schedule reservations of elevators for move ins and move outs; Work with community vendors Assist with collection of delinquent rents Host community events that bring the residents together Assist in generating traffic through active participation in the community's marketing strategy Maintain community's customer base with an effective resident retention program Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications
1-2 years' relevant experience and post-secondary education preferred Excellent customer service delivery Administrative and property management experience is an asset Ability to easily connect with others Ability to maintain a good working relationship with staff, contractors, prospective residents, residents and general public. Ability to communicate professionally with co-workers and supervisors effectively. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and follow-up is required. Knowledge of computer operating systems (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
