About the role

Russell Tobin & Associates is hiring on behalf of one of its esteemed clients. Job ID: 26-19014 Job Title: Technical Writer - Senior Location: Toronto, ON (Onsite) Duration: 250 Business Days with possible extension Client: Public Sector Pay Rate: CAD $50 per hour Role Overview The Technical Writer will create professional technical project documentation, including the development of project documents incorporating business and technical information provided by subject matter experts.

Must Have: A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in development of high-quality technical project documents. Demonstrated ability to capture complex technical input from architects and developers and translate it into clear, structured, and user-friendly documentation for a technical audience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proven ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams and stakeholders.

Role and responsibilities. Translate complex technical requirements into clear, structured, and professionally written project documents Collaborate closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather domain knowledge and technical content Synthesize SME input into comprehensive, project documentation Ensure documentation accurately reflects business needs and evaluation criteria Drive accuracy, completeness, and quality of project documents Ensure timely and efficient completion of project documentation Contribute to advancing organizational digital transformation objectives Russell Tobin is a leading minority-owned professional and technical recruitment and staffing advisory organization.
