About the role
We are looking for a Senior Analyst, Corporate Strategy and Development - Advanced Concepts to help shape the future of our product portfolio by exploring emerging signals, uncovering white spaces, and co-creating early-stage concept directions that push the limits of human movement.
If you are naturally curious, imaginative, and energized by ambiguity – and you love turning loosely-defined ideas into structured opportunity spaces – this role is for you.
You'll Have The Opportunity To Foresight & Weak Signal Interpretation
- Monitor emergent trends, technologies, societal shifts and evolving mobility behaviours across global markets.
- Identify, interpret, and articulate “weak signals” and their potential implications for BRP.
- Contribute to the development of future scenarios and strategic opportunity framing.
White Space Discovery
- Analyze user needs, pain points, and behavioural shifts to help identify new segments or adjacent spaces for BRP.
- Conduct exploratory research (qualitative and quantitative) to uncover unmet needs and emerging opportunities.
- Support definition of early “Where to Play” options aligned to Advanced Concepts’ strategic pillars.
Early-Stage Concept Development
- Work with Design and Innovation and Corporate Strategy and Development teams to translate opportunity spaces into early product and experience concepts.
- Participate in ideation sessions, shaping proto-personas, customer journeys, and early narrative concepts.
- Contribute to framing experience hypotheses, value-proposition ideas, and early right-to-win elements.
Lightweight Business and Market Exploration
- Conduct preliminary market assessments (TAM/SAM, competitor landscapes, user archetypes).
- Support creation of early business hypotheses, value-chain implications, and ecosystem considerations.
- Help prepare strategic assessments and recommendations for Advanced Concepts governance.
Strategic Synthesis and Storytelling
- Transform ambiguous insights into clear frameworks, visuals, and executive-ready materials.
- Build presentations and documentation for Product Orientation and Product Steering Committees.
- Synthesize findings into concise narratives to support leadership decision-making.
Collaboration and Cross-Functional Alignment
- Coordinate exploratory interviews with internal and external experts.
- Act as a connective tissue between the creativity of Design and Innovation; the strategic lens of Corporate Strategy and Development; and the operational understanding across business units.
- Ensure consistency between foresight, concept framing, and early strategy development.
YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Strategic Foresight, Innovation, Design Strategy, Engineering, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, design strategy, corporate strategy, or early-stage product strategy.
- Strong ability to interpret qualitative and quantitative information.
- Skilled at synthesizing insights into frameworks and clear narratives.
- Excellent storytelling and slide-creation capabilities.
- Curiosity, creativity, and entrepreneurial mindset.
- Comfort working with ambiguity.
Assets
- Experience collaborating with design or engineering teams.
- Exposure to mobility, recreation, transportation, sustainability, or experience design.
- Experience in early concept development or innovation pipelines.
- Familiarity with foresight methodologies.
