About the role
Position Overview:
This is a part-time seasonal position at the RBC Amphitheatre in Toronto, Ontario. Employment will last until mid to late October, and the hours will vary weekly. Shifts are commonly on evenings and weekends, with a few full-day events scheduled. Must be available to work all event days/evenings when needed. This position requires the ability to work past midnight for most events.
The Beverage Supervisor is responsible for directing all activities of the beverage department:
- Conduct daily and monthly inventory and supply counts to ensure that all beverage department products, supplies and equipment are accounted for.
- Coordinate the movement of beverages and equipment across the venue.
- Coordinate with Management Team regarding beverage orders and team needs.
- Oversee beverage department employees, assign shift tasks and responsibilities.
- Provide input on beverage program ideas, assist with the further development of beverage program.
- Ensure cocktail batch recipes are being followed correctly. Assist with resolving minor issues with cocktails on tap units.
Required Qualifications:
- Ability to work long hours and flexible shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Food & Beverage and/or Restaurant experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently or in a team setting to set up and execute beverage program during events.
- Willingness and drive to exceed Guest expectations.
- Ability to effectively listen and take direction from Management.
- Must have excellent knowledge of safe food and beverage preparations, service standards, Guest Service and etiquette.
- Must be punctual and dependable.
- Must possess strong organizational skills.
- Ability to perform under pressure effectively for extensive periods of time while maintaining professionalism.
pay rate: $23 per hour
