The People Data & BI Analyst is responsible for ensuring data integrity within the system and for implementing data analytics solutions. This includes designing and developing dashboards, reports, and other BI products. The incumbent will have experience in data visualization techniques, data modeling, and business requirements gathering, specifically related to HRIS data.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

  • Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and usability of people data across the HRIS and reporting environment, enabling leaders to make confident, data driven decisions.
  • Identify the People & Culture (P&C) data the business needs (e.g. employee, job, pay, and turnover information) and review available HRIS information and reports to support high-quality workforce metrics.
  • Pull, validate, and cleanse HRIS data to ensure it is reliable for reporting, analytics, and long-term use.
  • Partner with the HRIS, Director and SVP, Total Rewards to define which P&C data enters the Data Lake and establish the business logic and standards that ensure consistent, reliable analytics across the organization.
  • Create intuitive dashboards, visuals, and self-service tools that provide meaningful insights across recruitment, talent management, compensation, and overall workforce performance.
  • Establish and maintain project-specific KPIs, ensuring dashboards and reports are well documented, thoroughly tested and optimized to monitor performance.
  • Manage change requests for new metrics and enhancements and maintain version control for all P&C reporting assets.
  • Ensure appropriate data governance by reviewing access permissions quarterly and acting as the P&C Data Steward, upholding privacy, retention, and data ethics practices.
  • Recommend system configuration changes, reporting process improvements, and enhancements to support data integrity and insights.
  • Collaborate closely with the Director, HRIS to evaluate proposed system changes and enhancements, ensuring ensure solutions are scalable, efficient, and aligned with business needs.
  • Provide clear, actionable insights to stakeholders, serving as a strategic advisor to the Total Rewards team.

WHAT WILL YOU NEED?

  • 5+ years designing, developing and deploying complex BI solutions with a strong foundation in both HR processes and data analysis, with the ability to bridge technical and functional perspectives.
  • Strong hands-on experience with HRIS (UKG preferred) including configuration, reporting, and data structures; skilled in troubleshooting and recommending enhancements.
  • Expert experience in querying databases/data warehouses/data lakes using SQL.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and develop efficient and effective dashboard and reports using data visualization best practices.
  • Experience in Power BI is an asset.
  • Proven ability to define, document, and maintain business logic and data governance standards to ensure accurate, reliable, and compliant analytics.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently, and effective in a team-oriented environment.
  • Maintains high standards of data accuracy, compliance, and confidentiality.
  • Proactive in identifying and implementing workflow and reporting efficiencies.
  • Quick to learn new tools and adapt to changing business priorities in a dynamic environment.
