About the role

A career as an Insurance Claims & Programs Coordinator within the Administration team at National Bank is to support the delivery of timely and accurate insurance claims processing while managing insurance programs and requirements. In this role, you will contribute to risk mitigation, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction by collaborating with internal partners and external stakeholders.

Your role

Manage the end-to-end processing of insurance claims, including intake, assessment, settlement, and closure Collaborate with customers, insurers, vendors, and internal teams to resolve claims and ensure optimal outcomes Administer and support insurance programs, including policy maintenance, claims coordination, and reporting activities Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and documentation standards related to insurance and registrations Support funding and operational processes by verifying insurance and registration requirements are met Maintain accurate records, complete financial adjustments, and coordinate payments and recoveries related to claims and programs Identify opportunities to improve processes, enhance service delivery, and reduce risk exposure Deliver a high standard of customer service while managing a high-volume workload in a fast-paced environment Your team: This position reports to the Assistant Manager, Insurance Claims & Programs. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders including Administration, Collections, Accounting, and other operational teams, as well as external contacts such as customers, brokers, vendors, and insurance providers. The team operates in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment with a strong focus on accuracy, service excellence, and risk management.

Prerequisites

High school diploma or equivalent work experience/training Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Insurance, Risk, or equivalent experience is an asset 2+ years of administrative or customer service experience Prior insurance industry experience is an asset Professional and Technical Skills: Strong analytical skills with ability to assess claims and insurance coverage Attention to detail and accuracy in high-volume processing Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Proficiency with systems and ability to adapt to new tools Interpersonal & Behavioral Competencies: Strong customer service and relationship management skills Effective communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to collaborate and work cross-functionally Sound judgment and problem-solving abilities Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Team-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement Additional Languages: English Required skills:
