  • Be part of a purpose-driven organisation where your impact truly matters
  • Enjoy great benefits, including a talent advisory incentive program (up to 10% p.a.)
  • Work in a collaborative, supportive Talent team with opportunities to grow and stretch

About The Role Based in our Southbank Office, you will join our national Talent Advisory Team as a permanent team member, working particularly closely with one of our VIC-based Talent Advisors. This is a hybrid role, giving you the best of both worlds.

You'll oversee a portfolio of Melbourne-based campuses and partner with Campus Directors and Leaders on all casual and permanent recruitment needs (typically around 20-30 open vacancies at any one time).

This is a true end-to-end talent advisory role, where you'll:

  • End-to-end recruitment delivery - managing all aspects of the process from sourcing and pipelining through to interviews, offers, compliance, and onboarding
  • Proactive sourcing - leveraging LinkedIn, Seek Talent Search, Indeed, networking, social media, and industry events to build sustainable talent pipelines and reduce reliance on reactive or agency-led recruitment
  • Advisory and partnership - building strong, trusted relationships with hiring leaders, providing market insights, coaching on recruitment best practice, and aligning strategies to business needs
  • Employer branding - embedding OAC's Employee Value Proposition into all attraction activities, ensuring candidates experience the OAC Way from their very first interaction
  • Data and insights - using recruitment metrics and market trends to inform, influence, and educate stakeholders, while continuously improving sourcing ROI, quality of hire, and retention outcomes
  • Compliance and quality - ensuring all recruitment processes and checks meet internal and regulatory requirements, supporting safe and compliant hiring
  • Continuous improvement - contributing to projects, process optimisation, and People & Culture initiatives that elevate both candidate and stakeholder experience
  • Events and engagement - representing OAC at careers events, university/TAFE engagements, and industry forums to grow our presence and attract diverse and skilled talent

You'll be joining a collaborative, curious, and high-performing Talent team that celebrates wins, shares knowledge, and supports each other to succeed.

You Are Worth More

  • Talent Advisory Incentive Program – up to an additional 10% p.a. on top of package
  • Work-life balance – hybrid working, two Wellbeing Days each year, option to purchase up to two weeks additional annual leave

  • Leave support – 18 weeks Government Parental Leave Pay, plus 10 days paid Family & Domestic Violence leave
  • Health & wellbeing – access to our EAP and wellbeing initiatives
  • Rewards & recognition – retail discount program, cashback offers, and Loyalty Recognition Program to celebrate tenure

About You We're looking for someone who is energised by people, proactive in approach, and confident in building trusted relationships. You will bring:

  • Demonstrated recruitment experience (agency and/or internal), ideally gained within the Early Childhood Education & Care (ECEC) sector
  • Strong interviewing skills and knowledge of recruitment best practice
  • Experience managing multiple vacancies and priorities simultaneously
