Workforce Operations Coordinator Annual Salary - $56,299.37-$70,374.21 (Commensurate with experience) Permanent Full Time Start Date – As soon as possible

Reporting to the Manager of Human Resources, the Workforce Operations Coordinator is responsible for leading and coordinating workforce attraction, immigration, settlement, and integration initiatives that support the organization's recruitment and retention objectives. This position serves as a key resource for internationally educated professionals, Temporary Foreign Workers, and other candidates requiring relocation and settlement support, ensuring a positive transition into both the workplace and the community. Working collaboratively with internal stakeholders, community partners, educational institutions, regulatory bodies, government agencies, and immigration service providers, the Workforce Operations Coordinator supports workforce development initiatives and coordinates activities related to immigration pathways, workforce attraction programs, candidate relocation, onboarding, credential support, and retention initiatives.

Key Responsibilities Immigration and Workforce Attraction Coordinate immigration-related activities for internationally educated professionals and Temporary Foreign Workers. Serve as the organizational liaison with immigration consultants, legal representatives, and government agencies. Support applications related to work permits, permanent residency pathways, and workforce immigration programs. Coordinate organizational participation in immigration initiatives, including the Rural Community Immigration Pilot (RCIP) and Provincial Nominee Programs. Monitor legislative and regulatory changes impacting international recruitment and workforce retention. Maintain immigration program documentation, records, reporting, and compliance requirements. Support candidates throughout immigration, endorsement, and application processes. Serve as the primary contact with community immigration partners and economic development organizations.

Workforce Development and Retention Coordinate and administer workforce stabilization, retention, recruitment, and incentive programs funded through Ontario Health and other government agencies. Monitor funding opportunities and workforce development initiatives that support healthcare recruitment and retention. Assist in the development, implementation, and evaluation of workforce attraction and retention strategies. Support organizational participation in regional workforce planning and healthcare human resource initiatives. Attend and support international recruitment activities, career fairs, and workforce attraction events.

Qualifications Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Public Administration, Social Services, Community Development, Immigration Studies, Labour Studies, or a related field. Three (3) to five (5) years of related experience supporting internationally educated professionals, Temporary Foreign Workers, or workforce attraction initiatives. Experience coordinating immigration-related programs and processes. Experience navigating government-funded workforce programs, grants, or recruitment and retention initiatives. Experience working within healthcare, community services, or public-sector environments is considered an asset.
