About the role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent phone etiquette, strong customer service skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently
- Previous experience in optical or healthcare is considered an asset, but not required (training provided)
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet patients in a professional and friendly manner
- Enter and maintain accurate patient information
- Perform pre-testing for patients (training will be provided)
- Schedule and confirm appointments
- Process billing and insurance claims
- Perform front desk duties including filing, scanning, and faxing
- Recall patients for eye exams
- Balance daily payments and assist with day-end closing procedures
Position Details:
- Part time, approximately 20 – 25 hours per week
- Monday to Friday

IRIS is constantly expanding in the Canadian market.
