What You’ll Do:
-
Move and stack empty milk cases and pallets; load onto case-washing line and transport pallets using forklift
-
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the yard, plant, and ice cream department; remove garbage and cardboard; operate baler
-
Receive and distribute packages, chemicals, and supplies; restock plant, offices, and icehouse
-
Build and deliver packaging pallets for milk production; pick up leftover packaging and complete all related NetSuite transactions
-
Operate material-handling equipment (forklift, reach truck, power walkie) to load/unload, move, sort, and stage products
-
Inspect trailers, secure loads, seal doors, verify reefer temperatures, and finalize shipment transfers in NetSuite
-
Wrap pallets, stage them for shipping, and record pallet quantities/lot codes in NetSuite
What You Need to Get the Job Done:
- High School Diploma required or a combination of equivalent experience;
- Previous machine operator or packing experience strongly preferred ideally from a food/beverage manufacturing environment;
- Good verbal and written communication skills to communicate effectively with others in a respectful, positive and collaborative manner;
- Comfortable performing repetitive tasks;
- Extended periods of standing, and other physically demanding conditions (i.e. lifting up to 25kg);
- Able to work as a team member.
