About the role

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and talented Brand Manager to represent R+Co. In this field sales role, you will be responsible for driving businesses salons, brand loyalty and brand recognition in a defined, geographic territory through both new business development and existing business growth strategies. The Brand Manager works in conjunction with a distributor sales team to grow territory and salon sales through product education sell-in and sell through strategies, business consultation, merchandising, promotions and strong relationship management. The Brand Manager reports to the Regional Manager for their specific, geographic territory and has predetermined targets for both new business development and growth of existing accounts. Bonus and performance are both determined by attainment of these goals.

As a member of the international sales team, you will collaborate with Modern Beauty and report directly to the Regional Brand Manager Canada.

This role is classified as exempt from the Fair Labor Standard Act’s overtime requirement, is remote, with primary responsibilities conducted in the field and open to candidates based in the Vancouver area . The position requires working in PST hours. The work environment is primarily field-based; however, candidates must have reliable internet access and a dedicated, distraction-free workspace to perform administrative and other office-related duties.

This role will be employed through an Employer of Record partner in Canada, not directly through Luxury Brand Partners, LLC and subject to provincial employment standards.

What You’ll Do:

Essential Job Functions

  • Develop strong pipeline of potential new salon business and achieve new business goals
  • Achieve goals in comp business, new product sell-in and new account development, by delivering high quality in-salon presentations, product classes and consulting with salon owners, managers and stylists
  • Create a powerful, trusting relationship with salon owners, stylists and employees.
  • Rotation management inclusive of both existing and new business development
  • Work closely with Regional Managers to determine and support sell-in and sell-through strategies at a salon-by-salon level
  • Manage a systematic meeting schedule for assigned accounts and prospective business within a geographic territory
  • Execute strategic education plans for territory which requires the Brand Manager to promote, plan and assist in execution of regional and national educational events
  • Attend all company provided meetings and trainings
  • Overnight travel varies up to 75%.

Non-Essential Job Functions

  • Assist with special projects or initiatives as needed to support departmental goals.
  • Perform additional administrative tasks or clerical duties as assigned.
  • Support cross-departmental efforts or collaborative initiatives when required.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Knowledge of Excel, Word and Keynote.
  • Refined presentation and public speaking skills.
  • Knowledge or experience in the hair or beauty sector is preferred but not required.

Team Leadership & Oversight

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Physical Requirements

This role requires the following physical capabilities:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
  • Must be able to bend, stretch, kneel, twist, and squat to set up for events.
  • Prolonged periods standing, bending, stooping, and reaching.
  • Must be able to travel frequently, sometimes requiring long periods of driving or riding in a vehicle.
  • Must be able to focus on detailed work for extended periods, which may lead to eye strain or fatigue.
  • Must be able to perform tasks that require fine motor skills, including typing and using a mouse.
  • Must be able to carry and transport promotional or sales materials.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, often time-sensitive environment.
