We’re looking for a strategic and dynamic Technical Project Manager to lead the cybersecurity program advancement at MGH. Reporting to the IT Technical and Client Services Manager, this position is responsible for managing the Information Technology projects that enhances the operations, integrations, and security of our systems and environments. Projects need to be delivered on time, on budget and within scope. The successful candidate must have experience in documenting and understanding technical specifications and processes; working in collaboration of stakeholders, lead system implementation throughout entire project life cycle; and driving change of culture, processes, and procedures.
Education
- Undergraduate degree in Information Systems, Business or Hospital administration.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) (Preferred).
Experience
- Minimum 3+ years of IT technical project management experience, ideally in a health care environment
- Proven track record in managing complex IT projects, from planning to designing to implementation.
- Experience leading cybersecurity solution (e.g. IAM/PAM, NAC, network segmentation, etc.) implementations
- Experience with and knowledge of Hospital Information Systems.
- Demonstrated skills in facilitation, teamwork and leadership.
- Demonstrated project management of a medium to large IT system preferred.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products & project planning software.
- Ability to facilitate and track milestones and deadlines.
- Experience with preparation, monitoring, analysis and evaluation of project costs.
- Autonomous, independent worker.
- Ability to exert influence and work successfully in matrix reporting relationships.
- Ability to be flexible in hours worked including some work after hours and on weekends.
- Good work and attendance record required.
