Fall Camp Registered Nurse (RN/LPN)
Location: Easter Seals Camp Horizon, Bragg Creek, AB
Dates: October 24 – 26, 2025
Paid Training: Thursday, October 23, 2025
Compensation: $220 per day

Our mission is to Inspire Potential, Build Community, and Enrich Lives by providing inclusive and accessible camp experiences for individuals with disabilities and medical conditions. We are seeking compassionate and organized nursing professionals who can ensure the health and safety of our campers and staff during our Fall Camp weekend.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct health screenings for all campers and staff upon arrival.
- Administer medications as outlined in individual care plans, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Provide first aid and emergency care as needed.
- Maintain secure and accurate health documentation in compliance with FOIP/PIPA standards.
- Collaborate with camp leadership and external healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain accurate records of all care provided and medications administered.
- Report and document medical incidents according to Alberta Health Services (AHS) standards.
- Follow professional nursing standards as set by the CRNA or CLPNA.
- Provide guidance to camp staff on health-related procedures, emergency response, and medication safety.
- Foster a supportive, calm, and inclusive environment for both campers and staff.
Your Skills and Experience
- Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in good standing with CRNA or CLPNA.
- Proof of active nursing insurance coverage.
- Strong understanding of disability care and experience with complex medical needs.
- Valid Standard First Aid and CPR-C certification.
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with individuals of diverse backgrounds and abilities.
Working Conditions
- Live and work onsite at Camp Horizon during the camp weekend.
- Be available for overnight and on-call needs during the 3-day camp session (rotational)
- Provide care and support in both indoor and outdoor settings.
- Work within a supportive and inclusive team environment.

- Must be 18 years or older by the start date.
