Your Contribution:
Your main responsibilities
- Interpret engineering drawings and specifications accurately.
- Supervise and mentor junior surveyors.
- Coordinate with project managers and engineers to meet survey requirements.
- Liaise effectively with clients and contractors.
- Conduct topographic, construction layout, and as-built surveys.
- Perform drone and bathymetric surveys.
- Attend project meetings as required.
- Generating survey reports.
- Generate quantity takeoffs for estimates or progress certificates.
Your Profile:
What makes you unique
- Diploma in Geomatics or Civil Engineering Technology
- Being registered or being eligible for registration with Technology Professionals Saskatchewan (TPSK).
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in surveying.
- Proficiency with GPS, Total Station, and conventional survey technology.
- Experience with Trimble survey equipment would be considered an asset.
- Skilled in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other drafting software.
- Ability to manage and maintain survey equipment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated with leadership ability.
- Familiarity with general construction methods.
- Ability to provide quality assurance and technical recommendations on-site.
- Experience in performing surveys for topographic, construction layout, and asbuilt surveys.
- Experience completing drone and bathymetric surveys is considered an asset.
