  • Drive automation across build, test, deployment, and monitoring processes.
  • Oversee security governance, compliance, and risk management for cloud environments.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure seamless integration and secure deployments.
  • Monitor and optimize infrastructure for availability, scalability, and performance.
  • Lead incident response and disaster recovery planning.
  • Define and enforce DevOps standards, governance, and best practices.
  • Mentor and guide engineers on infrastructure, security, and DevOps practices.
  • Maintain documentation for infrastructure, processes, and configurations.
  • Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of production systems.

WHAT WE VALUE

Most importantly, you can see yourself contributing and thriving in the position described above. How you gained the skills needed for doing that is less important. We expect you to be good at several of the following and be able to—and interested in—learning the rest.

  • Bachelor’s/master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in DevOps, infrastructure leadership, and cloud security.
  • Strong expertise in any major cloud platform (Azure strongly preferred; AWS or GCP experience highly valued).
  • Extensive practical experience with Azure DevOps, Azure Bicep, and Terraform.
  • Hands-on experience with automation frameworks and scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python, etc.).
  • Proficient in version control systems like Git, Bitbucket, and SVN.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure Pipelines, and GitHub Actions.
  • Solid understanding of cloud services, networking, security protocols, and compliance frameworks.
  • Experience with Azure Entra and managing production-grade cloud environments.
  • Familiarity with security tools and practices in CI/CD pipelines.
  • Advanced problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Based in Toronto with the ability to attend the office at least two days per week.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-400, AZ-104, AZ-305) or willingness to obtain them.
