About the role

Our team is expanding and looking to hire a Sr. Operations Manager . We are looking for a dynamic and driven candidate interested in joining a fast-growing global company in the automotive sector.

The Senior Operations Manager oversees all manufacturing operations within a Tier 1 automotive facility, ensuring production efficiency, quality compliance, and on-time delivery to OEM customers. This role is responsible for leading cross-functional teams, driving continuous improvement, and maintaining world-class safety and quality standards. The position plays a key role in strategic planning, operational execution, and fostering a culture of excellence across the plant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning & Objective Management
  • Develop and implement the company's medium-to-long-term strategic plans and annual business policy plans, aligned with Group and product line strategies.
  • Lead the formulation of annual policy objectives and monitor execution to ensure operational targets are achieved.
  • Oversee comprehensive budget management, monitoring departmental cost and expense budget performance
  • Operations Management & Efficiency Improvement
  • Take full responsibility for the daily operations of the plant (planning, organizing, implementation, control), ensuring production tasks are completed on time, with required quality, and in specified quantities.
  • Coordinate and monitor production schedules, making flexible adjustments to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Drive production efficiency improvements and plant cost reduction initiatives, optimizing resource allocation through capacity evaluation and process balancing.
  • Lead annual improvement projects and new product introduction projects for continuous process optimization.
  • Implement and promote a Manufacturing Operation System (MOS) for digital and standardized management.
  • Quality Management & Customer Satisfaction
  • Guide and oversee the quality assurance system to ensure products meet or exceed customer requirements.
  • Participate in building and enhancing the company's Total Quality Management system, ensuring effective implementation of quality procedures.
  • Strengthen the after-sales service system and foster a culture of superior service, aiming to become a trusted long-term partner for customers.
  • Organizational Development & Team Building
  • Establish and refine a unified, efficient management system and organizational structure to ensure seamless cross-departmental collaboration.
  • Be responsible for building, developing, and motivating the management team to create a professional, efficient, and cohesive workforce.
  • Supervise and evaluate the performance of departmental heads, ensuring effective fulfillment of management duties to enhance overall operational excellence.
  • Promote corporate culture development, strengthen team cohesion, and care for employee development to boost morale and belonging.
  • Safety Culture & Risk Control
  • Champion all safety activities, establishing and consolidating a "Zero Accident" plant image, ensuring the thorough implementation of safety policies.

To be a qualified candidate, you must meet the following :

  • Associate degree or higher in Industrial Manufacturing, Business Management or a related field.
  • Over 10 years of experience in production management (covering production, technology, quality, and production planning), with at least 5 years specialized in product development within the automotive parts manufacturing industry.

Key To Being Successful In This Role

  • Proficient in enterprise production management processes, operational models, and on-site management techniques
  • Familiar with product quality standards, technical specifications, and calculation methods for material quotas and standard hours.
  • Strong capabilities in objective management, plan execution, and budget control, with the ability to effectively drive strategy implementation
  • Keen cost control awareness and familiarity with relevant methods and tools.

Work Environment

  • Automotive manufacturing facility (stamping, welding, assembly, or paint).
  • Exposure to industrial noise, machinery, and production floor environments.
  • May require flexible hours to support multiple shifts or emergency response.
