Position Overview

We’re looking for an HR Coordinator to join our lean and dynamic HR team. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting the full employee life cycle, with a focus on full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, HR systems administration, and process improvement.

As the HR Coordinator, you will report directly to the Senior HR Business Partner and be a key contributor in ensuring our employees have an exceptional and seamless experience across every touchpoint. You will bring a collaborative mindset, a detail-oriented approach, and a passion for delivering high-quality HR services.

Job Requirements

  • 1–2 years of experience in a HR or similar role
  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with individuals at all levels of an organization
  • Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail and follow-through
  • Process-minded with a continuous improvement approach
  • Familiarity with ATS and HRIS platforms (e.g., HiBob, Dayforce, BambooHR, Workday) is a strong asset
  • Proven ability to analyze problems effectively and deliver high-quality outcomes within set timelines
  • Proactive, dependable, and confident in handling confidential and sensitive personal information
  • A team player with a customer-service mindset and positive attitude
  • Enthusiasm for HR and a desire to grow your career in the HR space

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support for day-to-day HR operations (e.g., reporting, leaves of absence, employee letters, organizational charts).
  • Manage a seamless onboarding experience by coordinating new hire orientation, systems and workspace setup, and completion of required documentation, while liaising with internal teams to ensure readiness from day one.
  • Conduct full cycle recruitment activities, including drafting and posting job descriptions, scheduling interviews, managing candidate communications, conducting background checks, and preparing offer letters.
  • Maintain confidential employee records and ensure documentation is current, accurate, and compliant, including with all privacy regulations (PIPA, GDPR).
  • Assist in the implementation and continuous improvement of HR programs, processes, and policies.
  • Support HRIS data entry, accuracy, and reporting (e.g., HiBoB, Dayforce, or similar system).
  • Track training and development, including scheduling, communication, and tracking attendance.
  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams and external vendors to support the employee experience.
  • Respond to employee inquiries and escalate complex questions to Senior HRBP.
  • Contribute to internal HR communications and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Support special projects and initiatives as needed.
