Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional for a hybrid position: Regional Education Manager (Ontario) and Influencer Education Lead. This role drives business growth through strategic planning and execution of education initiatives across all brands, touchpoints, and distribution channels. The successful candidate will lead the education team in Ontario—including freelancers—while collaborating closely with our Digital Manager to maximize the impact of education programs and influencer partnerships.
Key Responsibilities Regional Education Manager
- Education Strategy Implementation: Develop, adapt, and execute regional education strategies in alignment with brand standards and business goals. Including JEP (Joint Education Plan) completion and leading team to drive Wella Rewards program in region.
- Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and manage educators, trainers, and freelance professionals to deliver consistent, high-quality training and brand messaging.
- Training Program Management: Oversee planning, coordination, and delivery of technical and creative education programs, workshops, and events for salon professionals and retail partners.
- Partner & Salon Support: Build strong relationships with key salon partners and distributors, supporting their teams’ growth and education to foster brand loyalty.
- Event Planning & Execution: Organize and manage regional education events, launches, and shows in collaboration with marketing and sales teams.
- Sales Collaboration: Align educational efforts with commercial objectives, supporting growth in product knowledge, sell-through, and salon services.
- Educator Training & Certification: Ensure regional educators are trained, certified, and updated on the latest techniques, product knowledge, and brand developments.
- Performance Tracking & Reporting: Monitor KPIs related to education delivery and effectiveness; provide actionable reports to senior leadership.
- Budget Management: Manage regional education budgets efficiently to maximize impact and ROI.
- Trend & Competitor Monitoring: Stay informed on industry trends and educational innovations to keep programs relevant and competitive.
Influencer Education Lead
- Lead Educational Presentations: Serve as the primary contact for influencers, media, and retail partners, ensuring comprehensive brand knowledge and prompt inquiry response.
- Content Collaboration: Co-create compelling content with influencers to engage beauty audiences across digital platforms.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain authentic, long-term relationships with influencers.
- Influencer Identification: Research, evaluate, and select 10–12 top influencers who align with brand values and target demographics.
- Campaign Strategy & Execution: Collaborate with the Digital Manager and Agency to design and implement influencer campaigns that drive engagement and brand awareness.
- Analytics & Performance Tracking: Utilize tools such as CreatorIQ, Traackr, and native platform analytics to measure ROI, reach, engagement, and sentiment; provide feedback post-event.
- Trend Awareness: Stay ahead of beauty trends and influencer culture to ensure campaigns remain fresh and relevant.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with PR, marketing, product, and creative teams to align influencer efforts with overall brand objectives.
- Issue Management: Handle influencer controversies or campaign missteps with professionalism to protect brand reputation.
Other Requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Willingness and ability to travel at least 30% within the assigned territory, with 3–4 trips outside the territory as needed
- Current, valid hairdressing license (mandatory)
- Valid driver’s license (mandatory)
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
