Company Description Accountor CPA is a cloud-based, technology-driven accounting firm serving small and medium-sized businesses across Canada and the United States. We provide a full range of accounting and advisory services, including full-cycle accounting, corporate and personal tax, global payroll, CFO advisory, and business consulting.
As our firm continues to grow, we are expanding our sales team to keep up with strong client demand and continued lead flow. We are looking for a motivated Account Executive to help us build on that momentum, support prospective clients, and contribute to the continued growth of the firm.
Role Description This is a full-time remote Account Executive role with a base salary plus commission structure.
The Account Executive will be responsible for managing inbound leads, developing new business opportunities, supporting client relationships, and helping prospective clients understand how Accountor CPA can support their business. We have strong lead flow, but we are also looking for someone who is comfortable identifying, pursuing, and following up on outbound opportunities.
This role is a key part of our growing sales and client success team. The ideal candidate will be someone who can build trust quickly, communicate confidently with business owners, and contribute to continuous improvement across the sales and customer success lifecycle.

Responsibilities Manage and respond to inbound leads in a timely and professional manner Identify, pursue, and follow up on outbound sales opportunities Build strong relationships with prospective and existing clients Understand client needs and recommend appropriate accounting, payroll, tax, or advisory services Support the full sales lifecycle from initial inquiry through proposal, follow-up, and close Work closely with internal accounting and advisory teams to ensure a smooth handoff and onboarding experience Maintain accurate records in the CRM, including lead activity, pipeline updates, and sales reporting Contribute ideas to improve sales processes, client communication, follow-up systems, and automation Act as a key member of the sales and client success team as the firm continues to grow
Qualifications Strong sales, business development, and client relationship management skills Excellent communication, follow-up, and negotiation skills Comfortable speaking with business owners and understanding their accounting and advisory needs Experience working in a fast-paced, remote environment Experience in accounting, finance, professional services, or a related industry is considered an asset Knowledge of accounting, payroll, tax, bookkeeping, or CFO advisory services is considered an asset Previous experience using CRM systems, sales tracking tools, and reporting dashboards Experience with sales strategy, lead management, and sales lifecycle automation is considered an asset Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field is considered an asset
Compensation This role includes a competitive base salary plus commission, with strong long-term growth potential for the right candidate.
